On Saturday 27th May, the Teikyo students were lucky enough to experience Holy Island in the sun! After a stroll to Lindisfarne Castle and then back into the village, some of the students described the island as ‘peaceful’ and the air as ‘fresh’, and were very pleased with the experience as a whole. After exploring the island, some students found the time to visit some of the gift shops and buy souvenirs. On our way back to Durham, we stopped at Sea Houses, a large village on the North East Coast of England, famous for its fish and chip shops!
We were able to enjoy these iconic parts of North East England before we were caught in the storm on the way home!
